Hi, Welcome to my page, I’m Sarah, I’m a Qualified Galen Canine Myotherapist based in East Kent.

I began my myotherapy journey when my beagle, Harley, was not performing as well in Canicross and agility as he used to, at around 4 years old he had slowed down and just didn’t seem to be enjoying it as much. I took him to the vets, who gave him a clean bill of health, so not knowing what else to do a friend suggested I try myotherapy. I researched Galen myotherapy and took him to receive treatment and within a couple of treatments I saw a big difference in him, both physically and mentally.
Having seen how much of a difference myotherapy could make I embarked on my own journey to learn as much as I could about the how and why it made such a difference, and The more I learnt the more I wanted to be able to help others experiencing similar issues with their own dogs. I started with an introduction to canine massage course, followed by the Galen Canine Anatomy and Physiology course, I then took a short break before signing up to the Galen Myotherapy Diploma.
I have a passion for helping sporting dogs, having myself been involved in agility, Canicross and bikejor for some time, but equally I love to help companion and older dogs that are maybe slowing down, or have a specific issue, to help them feel as good as they can.
Alongside Galen myotherapy I also have experience in harness fitting for both sporting and companion dogs, so if you need the fit of your dogs harness checked, this is also something I can do.
The name, Harmony Canine Therapy, came about in part from Harley’s name, but also from how we work in Harmony with dogs using positive PACT to allow them choice in treatment.
I look forward to meeting you and your dogs.
