When I was younger my dream was to be a veterinarian. For many reasons this only remained a dream, but my love and interest in animals and animal welfare still persisted. I lived for many years in Spain where I did private rescue and worked in shelters. Most of the dogs who shares and have shared my life were all adopted with their own particular issues, some of them due to pain.
In 2015 I met Julia Robertson for the first time when I attended a three day workshop with my dog Vanessa who had suffered many injuries and gone through many surgeries. I also had an adopted dog, Gloria, who due to an old and badly healed elbow injury, suffered a lot of pain and I could clearly see how the pain affected her behaviour.
From that moment on I wanted to learn more and in 2020, after completing the IDTE (international Dog Training Education by Turid Rugås) I enrolled in the Galen Diploma course. Finalizing took longer than I expected as the pandemic made travelling impossible, but finally I completed the course in May 2023.
Galen Myotherapy is still a fairly unknown treatment in Sweden, and I hope to be able to make it more known and reach more dogs. I think and have seen, that Galen Myotherapy is an efficient tool to use, alone or together with other therapies available. My intention is to continue learning and keep developing and deepening my knowledge on how to help dogs in pain. I am situated in an area south of Stockholm, and am willing to travel by car, train or bus in the area. I also plan to find my own premises, with time, and offer care-givers to come to me.
