Anyone that knows me knows I am just dog crazy, all shapes, sizes and breeds. Having had a variety of dogs myself, from a Mini Dachshund to a Great Dane, and currently lucky enough to have seven dogs in my life: a mini smooth haired dachshund called Rolo, a mini wire haired dachshund called Willow, (of a very dodgy polish descent), a rescue Collie cross from Spain called Luna, a Lurcher called Cleo, Pointer Sergucio rescue from Cyprus called Lambi and two Romanian rescue pups called Nellie and Lyra. All with very different personalities & traits and all humble and amaze me every day, as does every dog I meet I have always wanted to do something with dogs but never previously had the opportunity however, when nearing a milestone birthday, I decided it was now or never. After much research and deciding training to be a behaviourist was not a good idea with my unruly brood, I fortunately then a came across Galen Myotherapy. I loved how Julia’s methods connected with dogs the way I did, understanding how they communicate and giving dogs the choice to be treated. I qualified 2020 with a level 3 Diploma in Galen Myotherapy and am now a registered Galen Myotherapist and set up Wight Canine Therapy offering treatments to dogs on the Isle of Wight either in my Treatment Room in Newport or in your dog’s homes. I also hold a Canine first aid Certificate and Certificates in Gait and Lameness, Canine Anxiety, Canine Psychology and Animal Reiki. I am fully insured and only treat dogs with veterinary consent. I feel privileged and honoured to be able to offer myotherapy to these wonderful creatures to help them live their best lives.
