The love for animals has always been with me. I'm Italian, but I spent the past 4 years traveling (with my dogs, of course).
In 2018, I got a bachelor's in Veterinary Science from the University of Milan, with a thesis on the medical training of elephants. I studied the behavior of large mammals (elephants, tigers, and dolphins) and how it influences their attitude and movement in an unnatural environment.
Then my work led me to focus on dogs. My mind began to compare the mental needs of dogs (also their environment is not natural) to physical problems, reminiscent of my studies on large mammals. The physical and mental well-being of animals has always captured my attention, becoming the focal point of my work as a veterinary nurse, which I have been doing since 2018. Being involved in surgery made me understand the silent trauma that patients must endure. I feel it is my duty in life to ensure my patients feel well and to understand their pain.
Following this interest, I approached Galen Myotherapy thanks to my dog Mera, the love of my life. Together we have traveled a lot, done agility for many years and enjoyed endless runs on the beach. Such a busy life, along with spondylosis in her spine, led me to find ways to help her manage pain and fatigue. That's how I discovered Galen Myotherapy and after seeing the immense benefits on Mera, I wanted to pursue this path. She is now 10 and having her best life pain-free!
I found Galen Myotherapy the perfect combination for my interests; it reflects all the principles I believe in!
I hope to learn and improve myself constantly, dedicating my life entirely to the well-being of animals while following ethical principles and respecting the biomechanics of the patient.
