As a qualified veterinary nurse with over 20 years experience I have always had a keen interest in physiotherapy / rehabilitation of our patients; post operatively but more importantly when there are no bony mechanical reasons for lameness. Often seeing the vets prescribe rest when complementary therapies can assist improvement. I love the POSITIVE PACT of Galen myotherapy approach, always allowing the dog to choose where and when to be treated is really great and an excellent ethos to stand by. I plan on helping as many dogs as possible along with my fellow Galen myotherapists 1 dog at a time. Allowing elderly dogs to feel they can enjoy life better and improve mobility, dogs recuperating from an injury or surgery, sporting dogs to maintain optimum fitness and anything in between.
