I live on the Mornington Peninsula just outside of Melbourne with my two border collies, Sass and Bu. I’ve had dogs most of my adult life after eventually wearing my parents down at age 11 and getting a Shetland Sheepdog pup. I’ve competed with them in a few different sports over the years, but my passion is agility. Luckily it seems to be theirs too so that’s what we do!
I started training as a Galen Myotherapist after one of my dogs had to have TPLO surgery. I knew the importance of rehabilitation after such a large surgery but had difficulty finding a myotherapist close by – and ended up having to do a 4 hour round trip to see someone who I trusted. She was a Galen myotherapist and I could see immediately how much my dogs loved and benefitted from the treatments.
I currently work part time as a “human” musculoskeletal sonographer, but can offer myotherapy appointments on Wednesdays, most evenings and some weekends from my home in Hastings. I can also do home visits if requested.
