Distance Support Programme: Offers guidance and instruction on performing targeted, effective massage and exercises for safe home treatment of your dog.
Support Basis: Based on a detailed postural report and a tailored exercise plan.
Personalised Guidance: You receive tailored 1:1 guidance and professional advice at key stages, supported by a dedicated and highly experienced Galen Myotherapist.
Full Assessment Report: Delivered as a video recording with links to resources and documents, accompanying your second manual.
Report Content: Provides a 'nose to tail' assessment of your dog’s posture and loading, explaining its relation to any observed issues, with pictorial comparisons. It is totally specific to your dog, offering clear, functional, and practical information.
Technique and Exercise Recommendations: Includes recommendations and clearly instructed videos on how and where to perform three safe and highly effective techniques and how to implement recommended exercises.
Positive P.A.C.T.® Integration: Videos guide you on integrating Galen’s Positive P.A.C.T.®, choice-led treatment, into your own treatment.
Environmental Advice: Offers recommendations and ideas about how environmental changes could help your dog.
Feedback Opportunity: Programme includes the opportunity to send videos of your massage and exercises for professional feedback on application.
Follow-up Report (6-8 weeks): You can submit follow-up photos and a comfort scale for a detailed ‘before and after’ report explaining postural changes and the comfort scale.
HOW IT WORKS
You will be sent your first Distance Support Manual by email, which includes links to forms for you to complete asking you for specific photos and videos of your dog. These will form a major part of your Galen Myotherapist’s assessment. The manual gives you very clear guidance on how to present the photos and videos.
You will also be asked to complete our Galen Comfort Scale©, which is a scale that we have developed from years of experience, identifying behavioural and physical changes that relate to a dog’s physical and muscular health. This information is critical for the Myotherapist to be able to assess your dog, as well as a tool for measuring improvement in your dog’s long term health and well-being.
After you have returned the completed forms, videos and photos to your dedicated Galen Myotherapist, they will be fully assessed. Your dog’s Galen Comfort Scale© will also be analysed to plot your dog's current state of comfort. This will also give valuable information to track their changes and recovery through everyday observations.
YOUR REPORT
You will receive a full assessment report as a video recording, with links to associated resources and documents. This will be delivered to you along with your second manual, that includes relevant information to enhance your understanding of your report. It will have literally ‘nose to tail’ assessment on your dog’s posture and loading, explaining how it could relate to any issue/s they may have and you are observing.
The report will demonstrate pictorial ‘comparisons’, giving you a very clear insight into how, and what, we are basing our evaluations. It will be totally specific to your dog; giving clear, functional and practical information and advice, for you to incorporate and use to support the health and wellbeing of your dog.
Within your report, you will receive recommendations and clearly instructed videos on how and where to perform three safe and highly effective techniques and how to implement recommended exercises. The videos will introduce and guide you through how you can integrate Galen’s Positive P.A.C.T.®, choice led treatment into your own treatment.
As well as recommendations and ideas about how some environmental changes could also help your dog, the programme also includes an opportunity for you to send videos of your massage and exercises for feedback on your massage and exercise application to ensure the best results for your dog.
At 6 -8 weeks (included in the programme) you can submit follow up photos and comfort scale so we can provide a detailed ‘before and after’ report to explain the postural changes seen in your dog as well as the comfort scale.
REFUND POLICY
The Customer shall pay the Programme fee to the Provider to secure their report.
The report cost is non-refundable.
The Programme must be used within 16 weeks of purchase.
